We believe that investing is a process most successful when done within the context of a comprehensive financial plan which takes into account a client’s current position, goals and objectives, time frame, risk tolerance, and tax situation. Choosing an investment on a stand-alone basis rarely makes sense, and returns should only be evaluated within the context of a client’s plan.
We practice asset allocation—a strategy that diversifies an investment portfolio across many classes to provide returns with varying levels of risk. Financial markets are most often unpredictable and irrational; therefore, we do not engage in market timing, short-term trading, or reactionary movement of money. Our goal is to protect our clients’ retirements with sound long-term tax and investment strategies, as well as shield their assets from unnecessary estate taxes.
